i know you hate to let yourself down but i hate this new approach
if you stop wishin’ into one hand you might as well just shit in both
‘cause quitting in the name of “trying to be more realistic”
is just a nicer way to say you picked the path of no resistance

it’s a nicer way to say you’re afraid to try but you won’t admit it
you never know until you try and you’re scared of both
